How does the AI music generator work?
Choose Custom mode for your own lyrics or Prompt mode for a song description. Add a style, choose a model, and start the generation. The new task opens in your studio while the song is being created.
Can I turn my own lyrics into a song?
Yes. In Custom mode, paste or write up to 6,000 characters of lyrics, add an optional title, and describe the musical style you want.
Can songmusic.ai create instrumental music?
Yes. Turn on Instrumental in either Custom or Prompt mode to generate music without a lead vocal.
Can AI help me write lyrics?
Yes. In Custom mode, add a title, prompt, or style and use Write with AI. The generated title and lyrics remain editable before you create the song.
Where can I find my generated songs?
Every successful request opens in the Create workspace. Your generation status, playable results, and saved tasks remain available there after you sign in.
How many credits does a song use?
Basic generation at 120, 150, or 180 seconds uses 4 credits. Every signed-in account receives 40 daily credits before balance credits are charged.
Can I use generated music commercially?
Commercial use is included only for work generated while the account is on a Professional monthly or yearly plan. Users remain responsible for rights to every prompt, lyric, upload, and reference used.
Can I cancel or request a refund?
Subscriptions can be cancelled before renewal. Payments are generally non-refundable after credits are used or a result is delivered, but duplicate charges and verified non-delivery can be reviewed.
